That's the problem though, IF Roy is 80%, why are we putting so much on his plate?

If I could hazard a guess, and I have no internal connections or anything - so it is just a guess, I would think they are trying to get him to get in rhythm and work his way in with the hope that he would be much closer to 100% closer to the playoffs.

If your definition of "solid" is "not solid" then yea, I agree. We repeatedly gave up leads and the defense predicated on Roy going 1 on 5 again, many times with little success. You need an optometrist.

Who said I was hoping for a Blazers loss? You make up a lot of the stuff you post and it makes you feel good about yourself. You're like Rosie O'Donnell, but less attractive and logical.

Well the Blazers got the win, but the teams effort and focus was pathetic tonight. This is the exact same reason they have been losing games at home this year. When you are in the Rose Garden, you can tell the fans know it too. They aren't loud and boisterous like before. Somewhere right before that last LA game this year, the air went out of the crowd because they have recognized the lack of effort and lack of focus from the team. Granted everything wasn't perfect in the years before this one, but at least you knew the team played hard. The Kings got so many points in the paint it was sick. The only reason this game turned out the way it did, is Camby started putting out some effort on the defense in the 4th quarter. When he hit the floor diving for a loose ball, the first effort play I had seen all game from the Blazers, I gave him a standing ovation for somebody finally putting out some effort.

If they kept a stat for "floor burns", I suspect that the 3 old farts (Miller, Howard, Camby) would have more than any of the young guys.

Roy in particular has looked pretty terrible on defense, even tonight. That's why I wouldn't mind a guy like Larry Brown or Van Gundy to get into him and rough him up a bit. I don't think the defensive minded coach is telling Roy to step his defense up. There are times when Roy doesn't even try.
