Turnover Percentage: 14.6%... LA's is 8.9%. Leonard's is 13.3%. he turns the ball over per 36 minutes more than Will Barton.
Hands. Of. Stone.
Serious question: if you sincerely believe the guy is that bad - why are you convinced there will be a bidding war for his services? Shouldn't we be able to re-sign him for the league minimum?
Barton came back down to earth this game
Hickson gets an extra turnover because all game long he's a man of action, taking chances under the hoop to make plays. Aldridge is a wimp of wimpitude who doesn't do anything unless it's certain of success.

Aldridge did zero in this game, and less than zero in the second half. We would have won if Hickson had played.
Which lucky team will get Hickson?

Aldridge played some good D, too bad the refs didn't agree

#vintagevino. Lillard is the real deal #mambasalute
so, what's your point; the fact is the lakers lead the league in only one offensive category; foul shots awarded by the refs.I'm probably gonna get a lot of shit for this, but it seems like any time I go into one of these game threads, it seems like there's a lot of bitching about the refs. Without singling out any poster, because it's not really just one guy but rather a collective mentality. There just seems to be a lot of consistent bitching about the refs when the Blazers play a tight one, win or lose.

Meyers Leonard = not an NBA center.
Please explain to me why I am supposed to be *happy* Hickson is getting kicked to the curb?
Wow, that was a fun game to take my father to. It sucked we lost but most of the game was very very entertaining. After watching so many road games live, I was looking forward to being surrounded by Blazers fans, not crowds of Lakers fans. I know Laker fans show up to these games but this was more than usual. What a joke. This was a legendary game. I wish it had gone in our favor. NOVoodoo, you should go to Lakersground.net. They actually believe the league is out to get them and they blame the refs for all their losses. It's comical. ABM, I won't gag you. But I'd love to gag HCP.
BlaZers will be good next year. Sucks that Philly lost.

Repped!!!
Repped!!!
It pretty much happens in most game threads by any fan base. Everytime a lot of contact is made regardless of the play (even if its implied contact were you can't really tell if it was an actual foul or not) and its not called then someone, usually me and a few others, make a comment about it. Then when there is little to no contact on plays we bitch about it. I know I get pretty bad when i'v been drinking but from all the game thread i'v read from places like RealGM, Lakersground, rubechat, ect it seems pretty normal. Its definitely annoying when your not a big fan of the team, and even sometimes when you are, but in the heat of the moment its understandable how overreactions can occur. Especially when, as a lot of people on this board, you believe the NBA is either rigged or greatly weighted towards certain players/organizations.
Pretty much this. Bitching about refs is a time-honored tradition of sports-fandom! Of course most of us recognize that ref-griping is 90% bullshit, because we're willfully ignoring all of the bad calls that actually helped us, but against certain teams, and in certain situations, it's hard to deny a very real officiation imbalance.
