I think it was smart for Dwight Howard and Kobe not to play. They knew that if they played and lost that their confidence would be absolutely shaken. Right now the Lakers are 0-2 and the Blazers are 1-0. At their current pace, the Blazers are likely to go 82-0 in the regular season and I project that with an 82-0 record they likely will have the top seed in the West. The Lakers are projected to go 0-82 in the regular season and probably miss the playoffs.

Math and statistics. They don't lie.

You mean, unlike you duck fans, Stanford fans can actually do math and statistics. FAMS.

I can buy a calculator or have one of my bitches do my math...... you guys will always suck in football!

You guys don't actually suck, I just love talkin' smack with fans from other schools.

I just read the thread from start to finish. Very happy the first 2/3, then PapaG brings his anger against the posters for a few pages, then it's happy again at the end.

You guys had looked at the box score and I hadn't, so you got me on Aldridge having 8 rebounds. He didn't dominate though. We'd have won without him.

Claver is much more mobile than I expected for such a tall guy. Besides having Batum's potential, he shows experience too. Leonard is extremely mobile too, but I already knew that. I discovered that Lillard is capable of fancy passes, which we haven't had for a few years. As I posted a couple of days ago, Morrison is much better than Babbitt and I hope he makes the team. My man Hickson was aggressive but not as sharp as last season. The veteran knows this game doesn't count. Batum blew hot and cold as usual and had his little hot streaks. Freeland looked competent and experienced. Everyone else was invisible to me.

Do I like Stotts, or do I just like the absence of McMillan? Any new coach would probably please me. Let's just play conventional ball for the first time in 8 years. In summary, what's new is that I like Stotts and Claver now. I already liked Hickson and thought that Babbitt can't shoot.

In case you missed it, I just crowned Claver as the next Batum!

Shoot that one down! I'll be saying it a lot!

Watching him for his 12 minutes made me an expert!
