It's only a SPL game but I think Leonard has a great feel for the game.

Now, he NEEDS the right coach to help him develop his game.

I'd hate to see this talent go undeveloped while some former assistant coach learns the ropes.

A guy who was in contention for the three point percentage title is streaky? That is dumb.

Not really. That's all he does. And he could miss 5 in a row, then hits 5 in a row. Still 50%.

But that's all he does.

I think you'll see the Lillard of the first half when he is with the actual Blazer team - with Aldridge in the PnR and what not. Dude can certainly score - like I said before, I see him as a CP3 kind of player. Can score with the best of them for his size, knows when to turn it on, but is also a good passer (not CP3 level, but always said his vision is underrated). Also, I get the feeling that we are more likely to match Batum by seeing what our players are capable of in SL. Knowing what Lillard and Meyers could possibly do, makes it a lot easier to digest Batum at 11M.

One thing about Luke - his block out on the defensive boards is solid.

Both Leonard and Lillard are doing what they're supposed to do in their first game. Leonard collect rebounds, run the floor and hustle. Lillard controlling the games pace, score, get people involved. Plus Lillard is destroying Rivers.

So the way that Lillard drives, I'm seeing flashbacks of Brandon Roy.

Leonard is looking like a beast. I hope he can duplicate some of this against regular NBA competition.

Some serious BRoy nostalgia coming up over me seeing the poise this kid has.

The unorthodox lefty finishes also reminiscent of Brandon.

I'm thinking we may have found our guy that can take people off the dribble and get his own shot. Just saying.

I'll be honest, I was kind of worried about him.

It's just one SL game, so I wouldn't read too much into it, but Rivers has got a ways to go.

Man I had my doubts about our draft picks, but I couldn't be happier about them now.
