How does Biggie only have 3 rebounds? It feels like he has touched every rebound.

So I missed the first half, how as Swanigan's rotations been defensively?
I don't really care about his numbers.

OK, if you were going to sign one of the summer team guards on a two way contract, who would it be? Gutierrez does some good things, tough defender, good distributor, not much offense. Nick Johnson is more of a combo guard, seems to handle the ball ok, although dribbles too much. Tough little defender, seems to have a good 3 pt shot and floater. Hunter is now playing more team ball, he is pretty smooth and athletic. Cleveland a good scorer but not much of a team player. I'd probably lean towards Johnson but I think his offense in D league has not been consistent.

Pretty good. Certainly not bad. His feet are a bit slow but he doesn't seem stupid or out of place like Meyers. He'll definitely struggle against some players in the actual league but with the right coaching I don't think he will be a liability.

Cleveland. I like what he does defensively and he's really athletic

If we're signing someone we think might actually play this year, then probably Johnson. He at least seems to have NBA talent. He can get and make shots and has some athletic ability.

If we're signing someone to stash away and develop, then probably Cleveland. I think he's the youngest of the batch.

But I'd rather not sign any of them.

I know Layman's shot is not falling - but he is fun to watch.

Layman shoots too many contested 3s

It's like these summer league guards are actively trying to avoid giving Swanigan the ball in good positions.

These game time interviews during Summer League are so fucking boring I feel like I am listening to baseball commentary.

You'd rather have 2 for 9 3pt shooting than 2 for 5???

No, I would rather have a guy that will do his job. On this team, Layman's job is to try and score - and he does it even if they are not falling. Crabbe is a shooter that does not shoot enough. That's someone that does not do his job as he should.

The question is: do any of them even belong on a G League team?

BNM

Maybe Nick Johnson since he actually has an NBA skill.

But honestly can we get Jarnell Stokes in a Blazers uniform? He'll play better than Meyers while making 15x less money.

Jake is going to get there. He just needs some more seasoning. Preferably with garlic....

Jarnell Stokes is for real

I think we are playing better basketball than them, but don't have the shooters.

Why do I get the feeling the league has San Antonio on higher priority than us?

That's the only thing I care about. Last game he didn't play with as much energy despite the numbers.
