Blazers vs Utah, Thurs, 10/9/14 Game Thread!

I didn't see the game but it looked liked CJ played mostly with Will. Both played 23 minutes. Blake played 25 minutes. No Dame. I want to see Blake and CJ together as that is what will more likely happen during the reg season.

There were fewer players tonight so we tried harder.

The basketball players did the same without Lillard.

The fact that I can't easily project from my iPad to my tv is one of my main gripes about it. Must be nice.

I do it every day with my apple tv.

Well I hope you amateur threadmakers are happy. You're 0 for 2.
Bring back darkwing!

The game thread gets tweeted out by the Blazers. A few people might get slightly offended by the Book of Mormon reference.

And the censorship has started. Took longer than I thought though, but I knew as soon as we were "affiliated" with the team it would happen.

Oh lawd.

Gordon Hayward keeps throwing down some sick dunks against us. You don't think of him as a high riser, but he's got some serious athleticism. Poor Joel. He went up to challenge, but Hayward kept going higher and higher.

Me too. Also, CJ looked really good.

Again I did not see the game so I am curious to hear which aspect of the game he looked really good at. He seems to be getting to the line pretty well in both games. I did notice while following the play by play that he was picked by Burks twice. That does not worry me as much as long as Stotts pairs him up with a true pG during the regular season. I just don't think a CJ/Will combo is a good idea. (Even with Batum in the game)

I always said Hayward was going to be a good player. Everybody always told me he was just another white scrub. Dude can seriously play.

Mick I think you are getting your white boys mixed up. I don't think you will find very many posters who ever thought Hayward was a scrub. Not after his 2nd season anyway. Maybe some disagreed with paying him max money, but I think we all would have gladly taken him off Utah's hands.

I'm talking about the leading up to him being drafted. He had plenty of haters. Many thought the Jazz were nuts for taking him so high.

Oh, in that case good call. I talked to a few Jazz fans right after the draft and even they were not too happy.

Are you telling me that my threads I start might offend people?

Don't get intimidated when someone calls you a rookie. They only do that to make themselves feel superior. Us Rookies got to stick together! Welcome.
Thanks, I browsed just about every thread last season but never posted
