Home cooking? Hes from Washington I think. Hes actually been playing really well sine Monta got traded, dunno if Mark Jackson actually taught him to play like a PG or if he feels less pressure to chuck every possession knowing he'll get 30 mpg.

It occurred to me while watching the game that Felton actually has contributed something good to the Blazers; without him on the team there is no way our record would have been worse than Golden State's when Hickson was waived, and we would not have been able to claim him.

We didn't have a worse record--we were 21-24, they were 18-25. We got him because Golden State never put in a waiver claim. They were waiting for him to clear waivers and then sign him to a new contract.

We should retire his number. It should hang next to Larry Steele's.

In effect, it's like trading Felton for Hickson. We should tank next year to pick up the best players who get cut.

Why didn't we get several really good players like this in the years we were at the bottom? Oh yeah, I forgot, it wasn't Pritchard's philosophy to acquire veterans or anyone good.
