Exactly what I want to see from Meyers this year: His ass coming off the bench when it doesn't matter!

Glad to see these guys respond to Shaggy and his defensive tone at the start of tranining camp

2 things:
1) When guarded by Batum, not only is Seth Curry not an all-star, he's a below average NBA player.
2) Our defense is much better this year, so there are a whole lot more rebounds to get.

Nice to win by 16 and only shoot 36% from the field against a high scoring team. The Blazers need to be able to "win ugly" on the road.

I missed when our coach used to put batum on the best guard and shut them down. I really hope this becomes a trend

I don't think Seth will be an all star no matter who guards him. Steph on the other hand.......

I'd like to see our starting five be Lillard, Batum, Wright, Aldridge & Lopez. They really looked good together (of course when your opponent has a stretch of 2 for 20 shooting everyone's going to look good, but I think the length of that unit at least played a small part in that). Then have Mo, Wes, TRob, Freeland as the main reserves, with either Barton or Claver as needed.

Meyers, Crabbe, Watson aren't bad guys to have at the end of the bench. And when CJ comes back it'll be hard to find everyone minutes. Such a change from last year.

Yeah Wright started the 2nd half instead of Barton.

Fuck there you go. We have all been kicking that line-up around for months. They finally are able to try it and it ends up kicking ass. Hard to argue with a 22-0 run.........That will give Terry something to think about.

That was a great line-up. Shooting from all wings and the length to disrupt the offense.

I absolutely loved batum on curry. He completely shut curry down!

Even if Terry doesn't start that unit.....you figure it will still be used a lot. That is exciting.

Mo's stats are kind of mixed tonight. 7 assists but 6 turn overs. Were the TO's the result of not playing together, or stupid passes? Not being able to handle pressure???

Mo can and did score, but the GS guards were having their way with him.

I really don't care that much. I just don't want us to lose any ground when Lillard is on the bench, and we didn't. Dame sat out most of the second quarter and we were just fine.
