I might be the only one but the only one running under the "Democrat" label that I found appealing was Yang... He seemed fairly progressive, wasn't old, seemed to understand current problems. I thought he was sort of gimmicky with the everyone gets 1000$ and "Math" like he's the only one who has done math, but I found him interesting.

Interesting, yes, but also utterly unqualified. Give him a real job in the next administration, and if he does well at it, I'd take him more seriously next time.

Fair enough, but he's just as qualified as what we've got...

I'm hearing that Bloomberg not only dropped out and is endorsing Biden, but they are also trying to figure out the legalities for a way for Bloomberg to be able to financially support Biden.

Doesn't surprise me

Super PACs.

Yes, but I'd like to undo the mistakes of 2016, not just replace one with another.

The issue with Trump has never ever been his experience. He’s got like a million problems before we get to that one...

Maybe he should try being a mayor of a small town.

Yes, that would be good. Any government experience at all would be helpful. Yang is smart enough to understand what needs to be done, but whether he has the temperament for the painful slow process of compromising with idiots that is the essence of government - that remains to be seen.

If he wants a trial run, Yang should just start reading the posts here.

Andrew Yang is starting a new group to cement his ideas about 21st century work and technology firmly into the political “mainstream,” with an ambitious goal of advancing “a wave of new thinking in American politics,” BuzzFeed News reports.

Key takeaway: “His new group, which would allow him to build on his political platform until another campaign, will be structured as a 501(c)4 organization, meaning it can raise and spend unlimited amounts of money and is not obligated to disclose its donors.”

Oh well. I can lead a Yang to water, but I can't make him drink. This smells to me like 'I'm going to find rich gullible people and get them to fund my lifestyle'.

The GDC of American Samoa is nearly the $550m Bloomberg spent on his campaign. He should've just bought it. At least he'd have something to show for his money.

It could be his Lolita Island.
