They are playing well right now, on a hell of a run. Will be interesting to see how long it lasts but they are scoring and not giving up much.

They will be half dead soon like all Torts teams from blocking shots all game and trying to win 2-1.

Very talented team. So far they have played the least number of games compared to other teams.

They have a good roster but their schedule has been an absolute joke compare to the rest of the league.

League is about to put a crown on Tortorella for his outstanding coaching.
I want to throw up!

Don LaGreca on espn says Columbus Blue Jackets are the best team in the NHL.
Would not be surprised if they win the Metro Division. This week they have 3 games at
home vs LA Kings, Pitt Penguins and Mtl Canadiens. If they get 5 or 6 points vs this
trio, look out.
They are a very young team with 13 first round picks.
I've been watching and listening to their games on the NHL network. They have one
of the best defenses, best PP in the league, and first in scoring goals, and most importantly,
they have no major injuries. Also, add that their schedule has been well spaced with only
one back to back game so far. Now, that is called f'king good luck!

Bobrovsky is playing at a much higher level this year, but i think they're playing above their talent level. Sum greater than parts type of team.

Disagree 71. They are talented. What pisses me off, their autocrat coach is getting all the praise.

They have alot of a solid young players but not many 'stars' i guess i what meant.

BJs are doing what the Rangers are not able to do. They are giving the Pens a tootin' smash down.
They are pounding 'em 7-1.

^^^^who needs stars when they beat teams handily.lol.

And guess what? Tomorrow they host Les Montreal. Should be interesting, eh?

And to put the cherry on top.........12/22/2016 Columbus Blue Jackets are in 1st place
in the Metropolitan Division.........riding an eleven game winning streak. If this team is
playing above their talent level, I want a team that has achieved the way they have!

They're riding a huge winning streak so good for them. Just not going to anoint them when they have underachieved for so many seasons prior.

Jacket's asshole coach is one hard mother f'ker....... team just won 13 consecutive games and he
called his team "crap". The bastard deserves worse!

A nice win by the Rangers and Raanta, but unfortunately the 2 teams ahead of them win again. Frustrating I don't think I can get into watching them in the Playoffs this Year. Will only be disappointed.

One thing about rooting for the Rangers, you are sure to have a tough, trodden constitution! LOL.

Looks like Blue Jackets are not going to lose another game! Insane. Pens have been canonized by NHL network
to go to the Stanley Cup finals again. The more things change in this league, the more they stay the same.

I can't believe they won again tonight. What is that now 14 straight??? Rangers have to win again tonight just to keep up.

Saturday night: Columbus (14 straight wins) at Minnesota (12 straight wins). This contest could go
many ways. My bet is both teams get a point and Columbus wins the SO.

They both find a way to win. Pretty amazing though. I have to imagine this is a NHL record for combined win streaks playing against each other. 26 straight wins between the two....wow!

^^^^then you wonder.........how many teams in this league are competitive? There are many weak teams
in this league.

When a team scores 2 goals 15 seconds apart, that team will seldom lose a hockey game. And so it goes
for the Columbus Blue Jackets. They lead behind Bobrovsky 3-1 in the second period.

Looks like we may not have a chance to prevent the record. I was kind of hoping for the chance as they seem to play better as an underdog.

^^^^Playing at Columbus with all our injuries, Rangers are a definitive underdog! Lol
