I agree with others, Facebook has it's uses but just for scrolling through a timeline it has become painful to sift through the garbage.

Exactly. Anything to do with the algorithm is garbage.

If it were just a chronological timeline with an option to click on the most popular posts from this this hour, today, this week, this year, or all time it would be far better.

But that's pretty much all social media. They would all be better if that's all they were. But they wouldn't be able to charge as much money for advertising.

I probably will. I'm just so old, it's difficult to change but I know it won't be that tough really. Just have to maintain two sites for awhile. I was just starting to get quite a few female Ukrainian soldiers as followers too, which was kind of cool.

Apparently right-wing trolls are really really angry about bluesky because the culture of just putting them on ignore and not engaging completely takes the wind out of their sails. See, because they get no reach, and nobody is replying to them, they have nothing to be reactionary to, and just fade into obscurity until they leave out of boredom.

This technique can be applied to other places, even basketball forums.
