What are you using? I'm stuck between getting a JAWBONE Prime or a Platronics Voyager Pro.

The Voyager pro is ugly as fuck but gets HIGH marks on call quality.

Prime is small and compact.... I liked my first jawbone.

I'm leaning towards the Jawbone Prime.

oh yeah, I can get the Jawbone 2 about 40-50 bucks cheaper...might be another option.

I hate those damn earpieces. I've tried four of them....including the jawbone. I thought the jawbone was uncomfortable, and didn't like the way it worked.

I drive a lot and got a warning from the WSP recently, and knew it was time to get some sort of handsfree device for my car.

Its pretty cool....has a touch screen, Sirius sat radio, hooks up to my IPOD, and can even play a DVD. Mostly I just listen to Sirius. When I have an incoming call, it notifies me onscreen and I can answer the call by touching the screen.

When I start my car the bluetooth hooks up automatically to my cell phone.

This works way better than any of the earpieces. I have a mike installed in the ceiling of the car.

You can adjust the tilt on the viewscreen, and detach the faceplate.

They make one with built in GPS, but it was too big to fit my dash properly and I already had a Garmin. Pretty happy with the way this works

yeah, I don't want to change my stock stereo it'll look really ugly in the dash...although it would solve my problem with me wanting Sirius radio too.

but then I'd put in my subwoofers and we have a whole host of probelms...

I was concerned about that too, which is another reason I went with this model rather than the larger version. It doesn't look the same as a built in, but they did use a dash mod kit which helped make that better. Ended up looking okay. I'm happy with it anyway.

Of course you could always buy a new car and order it set up with factory stuff. Prices are really good these days. My buddy just bought a new Toyota Camry and paid less for it than the one he bought four years ago.

A huge concern for me.

I had a number of break ins and broken windows before I wised up and bought car alarms. Haven't had a single problem since. Tweakers see the flashing light and move on to easier prey.

yeah, i'd just be nervous if I parked on the street for a week. with a stock deck..who cares, they're less likely to jack that shit.

I once had a neighbor who was a mean old man. Well, thats what most folks thought anyway.....except me. I found out his bark was worse than his bite, and I used to go over and drink cheap wine with him, trade stories, and have a few laughs.

Anyway he was a tough old bastard who'd, been shot 4 times during robberies of his little grocery store. He claimed to have killed one of the burglars with his shotgun and dragged the body back into the store before he called the police, cause the cops had warned him before that if he shot someone to make sure they were dead and in the store by the time they got there.

He had a shitty old Toyota that for some reason tweakers liked to steal. The car had been jacked a few times and he was real pissed about it and had the damn thing rigged with a silent alarm so he could go out and shoot whoever was fucking with his car.

Fortunately for the tweakers in the neighborhood he died of a heart attack before he got his chance.
