Yeah, it sucks giving up Pau. But Love is young and Kobe could turn him into a winner. I doubt he'll have his weight problems playing in LA full time. It's probably just some kind of winter blubber or something however people survive in Minnesota when it gets to 15 degrees. He won't hurt his hand beating off again either cause of all the women here for him to choose from.

It's hilarious that now Pau is a loved Laker because he's a warrior and stuck it out with Kobe. Where are all the Laker fans that have been crapping on him for being soft and ineffective? Hehe
 
Now, Pau is going to be the best center ever I guess. Apparently he was being hindered by being pushed out of the paint by Howard and bynum.

Oh and they want bynum back badly now or greg oden...... insert dong pic.
 
I'm pretty sure Kevin Love was fat at UCLA. Is there some magical difference between Westwood and downtown LA?
 
We can have our fun, but the L*kers are going to suck next year and then have a ton of capspace for 2014. They'll get the ping-pong ball equivalent of the frozen envelope treatment and they'll attract a couple of huge free agents.

It's going to be one year of downtime then another decade of deep runs by that team. It's simply the structure of the league.

Can we please try to sign this guy? He played Center but wants to play Power Forward. He can play and did a great job last season.

He won't replace Dwight, but he's a solid defender, young, athletic, and can rebound. He averaged a Double Double.

I think there are not a whole lot of teams that will spend now that most big names have been signed (save Monta Ellis).

Give him the MLE and let's bring him in!

I can actually see lakers signing hickson . I just don't see how they can offer more than min mle?

The lakers aren't going to offer anything more then 1 year deals. They are set up in the off season for MASSIVE room to sign 2 Stars and bring back Kobe. I could see them giving him a 1 year deal at a pretty high salary.

On another note, the Lakers forum is full of Lakers fans crying about how the new CBA was meant to destroy the Lakers and how its unfair that Taxes have a big part to do with FA because of how high taxes are in Cali.

They can't though because they are still in luxury cap. Unless they waive mwp.
