Hey - I've been away so although this was probably covered when the board moved, I didn't see it:

1) How do I attach a picture to be a signature? It's in my personal folder, so I can't post a URL
2) How do we PM each other?

Thanks.

Use the insert image button in the editor. If you use chrome, you can drag the picture from another browser window. Maybe dragging the image file from desktop into the editor works.

Click on your name upper right to start conversations or see your inbox.

I'm sorry, it says "inbox" next to my name, upper right. Click on that.

Since we are on the subject of board stuff, how do I post a link about "Damian's Defense" with his name being link? I used to know how to do this but forgot. :dunno:

Select the text to be made a link and click on the link button in the editor toolbar.

How to make links:

Then paste or enter the target URL here:

It's not a URL, Denny - a picture on my desktop.

Drag the picture into the signature editor. The trick should work in all the editors on the site:

Or click on the insert image button:

After I drag an image from my desktop to the editor, I see this:

upload_2015-5-7_13-32-18.png

Click on Full Image to insert the full image.

I have a question about the website..how do I delete typo usernames from my login box?

Clear your browser website settings. You'll have to log in again and it should only remember your one login.

Thanks, tried that before but didn't check auto form data..worked this time after doing that

Can we have one day a month where all banned members can come back for a conjugal visit? Amnesty day? The Grudge Part 2?

Shouldn't this thread title be changed to "Bored stuff"? Only a couple of weeks out of the playoffs and I'm already bored enough to read this stuff.

PMs in this software appear to be more public than in the previous software. In this software, who has the power to read our PMs? Who DOES ever read our PMs?

I could read other peoples' PMs but I refuse to violate everyone's/anyone's privacy. They are private.

You're not denying that anyone else (e.g. the company vice president with NSA friends) reads some PMs.

When I tried to PM, it felt like it was open for everyone, not just moderators, to read.

I should add that Obama reads everybody's email and listens in on every call.

I sell yours to the NSA.

That's about the third time in the last year that I've asked a similar question, with Denny forgetting to answer.

When Nate and I discuss how to take over the forum from Denny we do it via email.

No

Moderators can't read others' PMs.

The NSA spies on everything that comes and goes from every WWW site on the planet. They read your PMs without touching this site directly.

The courts don't like what Obama's been doing.

Top federal court rules against NSA's phone records program

A federal court has decided that the National Security Agency’s bulk, warrantless collection of millions of Americans’ phone records is illegal.

The sweeping decision from the Second Circuit Court of Appeals on Thursday represents a major court victory for opponents of the NSA and comes just as Congress begins a fight over whether to renew the underlying law used to justify the program.

That program “exceeds the scope of what Congress has authorized,” Judge Gerard Lynch wrote on behalf of the three-judge panel.

I also hear they're rounding up anyone who posts ill of Ronald Reagan on message boards.

Okay, thanks for the official denial. An answer like "No" cannot be parsed for infinite semantic meanings. It denies all things, including climate change. I can see the judge at the World Court in Brussels saying, "'No' means no, Denny! You'll be sharing Noriega's cell!"

Dragging did not work. Insert image asks for URL.

Dragging works for me.

Drag the file/icon to the editor in the browser.

Or try the upload a file button below the editor.
