So the section about Hippies is actually accurate. I follow the link on the Yahoo! page to americablog.com and there is an awful lot of "stuff" about how the textbook got it wrong about the hippies.

They marched on Chicago and incited bloody riots. They went to airports and threw baggies of feces and urine at soldiers returning from Vietnam.
Charles Manson and his gang were a pretty good example of a violent hippie cult.

The rest of the objectionable (I do object) is taken from textbooks used at private religious schools. The whole point of vouchers is that parents and students should have the choice where to go. I'd be interested in the facts they're not talking about, such as whether anyone is using vouchers to attend those schools, how many actually use the textbooks, etc. It could well be that the books in question are used at a very small number of schools attended by tens of students state-wide.
