What I quoted was quite clearly Duterte comparing himself (favorably) to Trump.

I thought it was funny (and possibly even true). That's why I quoted it.

Not one of those is Trump comparing himself to Duterte, as crandc claimed. It sure looks like all those news outlets are doing their best to make that association.

Someone else made the comparison, he took offense to it. He didn't make any comparison on his own. As I said, your quote didn't say what you thought it did. It still doesn't after your feeble try at explaining it.
