OT Bombing of the USS Liberty

An incident not many are aware of: but in 1967, Israel deliberately bombed a US Naval Ship, this was planned and coordination with the United States Government, who ordered no aid be provided.

The goal was to sink the ship, blame it on the Arabs, and get the US into a big war in the Middle East.
But the ship survived, barely, 1/3rd of the crew survived. They were threatened with imprisonment or murder if they talked. But eventually, they all opened up and told their story.

You'll hear people white wash this incident, saying it was just an accident, but no, listen to the evidence, and the testimony of the crew that was there.

Here is an interview with one of the survivors. It's important the public comes to terms with the depths of depravity our leaders have engaged with over the years. And I also believe it's important to bear this incident in mind with how our Federal government has been so supportive of Israel.

Do you really believe Pearl Harbor (or 9/11 for that matter) was a complete and utter surprise? The US was at least partially complicit in both examples. You're way, way behind (in this instance 57 years). Try to keep up. You still have five and a half decades to catch up on.....

I said dual citizens in our government. That is an extremely specific group of people and far detached from just ‘Jews in general’. I am under no illusions as to what this country is or isn't. Haven't been since my navy days. Hard for America to be great again when maybe, just maybe it has never been all that great to begin with (and what you and Beast regularly post would seem to be in agreement with that statement). But that doesn't mean I don't have ANY standards left. I did not support a man who incited a crowd into trying to (at the very least) hang the vice president, and who is a convicted felon and sex offender (all true, indisputable facts). I'm more worried about where we are going now than where we were 67 years ago. That's MY point. And yeah, since Election Day I'm am feeling very, very "fuck it, right?"

I like my opinions to be well formed and well considered. I agree that Israel is a country in the middle east with undue influence on US politics.
