Another piece of advice. Be careful what you say to people in a social media environment, especially ones that are new as you never know who is on the other side of the line and how they can impact your future. So did you play college ball or not as you seem to keep avoiding that. It was posted in this topic that you had or maybe still do if you are only 22.

So you're a jock and you say i'm a cup? We should " hang" some time.
Sounds like a veiled threat to me.

I'm good. I don't want advice from you. Thanks for offering, but I'm putting you on ignore (again).

I knew he sounded like someone! Cup knows I have him on ignore too. And then the whole "I can't come play, I've had knee surgery"...

Dude, you are really paronoid. It was just some simple advice and your responses have pretty much proven the ego thing. Don't take things so seriously as i like to joke around.

Almost game time. Go Blazers. Got to go.

Usually jokes are funny.

Bye Cup.

Years ago, I posted on the OregonLive board. I posted infrequently, but I'd posted probably for 18 months to two years. The site even featured a couple of my posts.

Anyway, one night we lost to the Rockets, and I took it really hard. Game we should have won. I posted the loss made me sick.

Next thing I know, some board regular started taking me to task for that. Then this poster and another started saying I was another poster using a fake moniker. I didn't even know the guy.

Funny thing was that I got crap most of the time for being too positive. Now I was being called too negative. And these guys started following me from thread to thread calling me this other guy.

That's how I wound up here.

Their loss, our gain.

I wound up here because they basically shut it down, and it was me and 3 other guys.

I wound up because Cup was mean to me.

Now his fate is in my paws!

BTW, Cup wasn't mean to me, we argued like everyone else did and does with him but I finally met him at the Cho Meet and Greet with his grandson. Very nice guy. I wish we'd see that nice guy more around here.

People giving you crap is ridiculous, especially for that. You're a good, level-headed poster. I haven't fully been paying attention, you gonna come out and play ball with us?

Thanks.

Wish I could. I love playing. But I live in central Pennsylvania. If I ever make it out to Portland, though, I will let you guys know. Hopefully a few of us can get together and shoot around.

Used to play in a really nice little summer league in Altoona. We had some NBA players -- Doug West, Mike Iuzzolino -- and some guys who went on to play for the Globetrotters. We lost to them in the finals one year.

Any other college players in here? Div 1?
I was the PIL player of the year in 1990 and played at UofO for 4 seasons. Averaged 15/12/3 and shot 52% from the floor. Obviously didn't have what it took to get drafted in the NBA, but took my talents to Spain. I floated from team to team over there until I really found a spot where I fit in, Clubo de Basketbal en Seville. They acknowledged my low post game and I thrived. Averaging 19/9/3 over 9 seasons before retiring back here at home.
You'll have to excuse the few on here that think they know all things basketball. Until you've played at the level I or possibly you have, they can't really speak upon it, if you ask me.

Welcome to our little forum. Always love getting fresh blood and opinions on here, not the same old same old. Some on here might call you "rook" or try picking on you a bit because you are new, stand your ground brother. Take care and holler if you have any questions! #FAMS

Are those Amish peeps good at basketball?

KJ man, posts like these are a big reason why we often don't get along. In the post he responded to, I literally said the opposite. Apparently I can say things along the lines of "I don't have it all figured out", because a troll will still say "Well you have it all figured out then", and you'll still agree with the troll with a "Yup!".

Sigh.
Bones i should have put that in green bro. Seriously that was absolutely tongue in cheek. I should refrain from those types of responses but i was laughing when i was reading and responding. Some things just get lost in printed word. I should have put green font and an emoji next to it.

Maybe i'm missing the direction of this comment but to me this sounds to be a joke and is also lighthearted in nature. Do you know all the unwritten rules of the forum? When using sarcasm we use "Green" font. It can be acquired by clicking the A at the top of the response. Also If you click the smiley face a drop down will come up that has a number of emoji's that create a fun atmosphere. Just in case you don't know that.

Yeah I've used the same moniker for about 20 years now. Never even thought about changing or making a second one? Multiple sites on a number of teams and different sports all Kjironman1
