In 2004, Massachusetts became the first state to legalize marriage equality. The New England Patriots won the next Super Bowl.

In 2011, New York became the largest state to legalize marriage equality. The New York Giants won the next Super Bowl

Today, Washington legalized marriage equality.

It was a race between Washington and Maryland, and Washington won. The Seahawks, not the Ravens, are next year's Super Bowl Champions.

Ugh, let's hope not.

Will we ever get over the notion that any type of union, other than that between a man and a woman, is absolutely not a true/legal marriage?

The only thing the Seachickens win next year in this whole equation..... the rights to say they were the first team to break this trend!

Go Niners!

Props to my state of Washington and GO SEAHAWKS!!!
But unless my Seahawks get a solid QB, they aint even making the playoffs next year!

Remember how different your life was before you settled down. Imagine everyone being that wild all their lives.

Of all institutions which make the population conservative and docile, marriage is the most effective. Naturally, spy agencies want to extend this miraculous device to everyone. Congratulations suckers, I mean gays, for letting them convince you to fight for your own demise.

Sorry, sad to say, Niners lost their chance when the court decision didn't lift the hold.

Happy for the law.... Not sad for the Niners - they'll still be better than Seattle next year, even without help from a coincidence like such.

Look, I live in Oakland and I'm a Niners (not Raiders, not after they destroyed the A's stadium at taxpayer expense - don't get me started!) fan. Although I also root for Seahawks & Jets.

But, the judges still kept the hold in California.

Yes, BTW, I DO know the difference between correlation and causation. Just having some fun.
