Bowl question

So I get that the Rose Bowl is forced to take a non AQ school if a Pac 10 or Big 10 school is playing for the title, but is this also the case for other BCS bowls? I mean if the Sugar, Orange or Fiesta lose one of their contractual schools, do they have to take a team like BSU, TCU, etc? If not, why not?

I couldnt find it in the wikipedia post but I admit I skimmed over it fast. I believe the non AQ required bowl alternates sites every year. I could be wrong on that though, but thats what I think I remember.

Basically the 4 BCS bowls alternate on being forced to take a non AQ school if one or both of that particular bowls participants are in the championship game. This year it happens to be the Rose Bowl that is burdened with this. Basically if Oregon and Auburn win out, the Rose bowl is not allowed to take Stanford to play against the big 10 champion. Assuming Oregon wins out, the only way Stanford can go the the Rose bowl is if Auburn loses and one of TCU or BSU play for the championship. Then the Rose bowl can take Stanford to play against the Big 10 champion. If Oregon loses a game, then they would simply go to the Rose bowl
