What's your point? Because they waited to publish a book of their son's story, it isn't true? Lots of people have waited years to tell their stories. The famous Watergate source, Deep Throat, kept his story secret for over 30 years.

He was 4 and he dreamed of talking to dead relatives? I still dream of dead relatives a little. When I was 4 I dreamed the Devil was chasing me. When I was 7 I dreamed I accidentally went to school without my pants on. Nowadays, I have only one dream and it's

Got interrupted there. I think I was talking about world peace?

Shocked that his dad is a pastor. Great last name, btw. BURPO.

No, he kept his identity secret for 30 years. He told his story in 1972.

Fascinating. You should write a book. I'm sure people would be more interested in your dream than by some kid going to heaven.

His identity is what everyone wanted to know. People keep secrets for a long time, but that doesn't undermine their truthfulness when they finally tell all.

Eight-year olds, dude.

No, everyone wanted to know whether Nixon was a crook. That was the story. No one gives a rats ass about Mark Felts.

I'm an atheist.

I have had a near-death experience (unconscious and drowning in a river rapids).

Saw the white light just like everybody says.

Didn't see any mythical super-beings, Jesus, or dead relatives.

Then my head hit a logjam and I was fished from the river.

You actually died and saw a white light before coming back? How did that make you an atheist?

I love how the parents saying that they never told the four year old this or that was somehow proof that he couldn't have known these things. As if parents don't say things around children without realizing it.

Well, the fact you're an atheist and you never saw Jesus makes sense.

My only near death experience was in pre cell phone days when I got caught standing between a ringing telephone and my teenage daughter. I don't like to talk about it.

True. However, it just as easily could have happened the way the kid states. I suppose it all boils down to what one chooses to believe.

Howard Storm to me had the most interesting NDE:

What makes me believe him is that the guy clearly isn't out for money, he wrote one books 20 YEARS after the experience happened to him and dedicated his life as a pastor. There are more youtube videos on him if you're interested.
