I can see why it is threatening but its a shirt.

I can understand why others might see it as threatening, but I don't personally see it that way. I think he should've been able to wear it. But i don't care that he was asked to take it off. not like it was a violation of his freedoms.

I dont find it to threatening but in the school systems now adays ehh

He paraded around high school in a T-shirt with the slogan, "I will hurt you physically and metaphysically."

In my day the conservatives tossed you out for not wearing a button-down shirt. Then we hippies took over and even blue jeans became allowed.

I say throw the little punk out for wearing a a T-shirt. And make him grow his hair long.

Im Going to reply i dont really understand if your being sarcastic but in the instance your not Throw him out? he had a shirt with a slogan from a tv show on it make him take it off but throw him out Really?

well, not sure why you're saying anything about liberals. I remember when I was in middle school, the "sex wax" t-shirts were huge. The conservatives at my middle school freaked out and banned them (along with the "I'm Bart Simpson, who the hell are you", any Ren and Stimpy shirts).

It is a simple formula. If it's sexual or homosexual, it offends the conservatives. If it's guns or violent, it offends the liberals.

probably far more truth in that than what should be.

when you figure out if he's serious or not, could you let the rest of us know? I don't think any of us know either.

I dont know, i lean right on a lot of things, but i can agree with MM here.

I understand its a slogan, but you cant have a kid condoning violence on his tee.

I bet most of the teachers watch the show most prob. did not care its that one person who takes it to heart

At first, I was like, anyone wearing a 'Duck Dynasty' shirt is a loser and probably doesn't get anything out of school anyway. Then I read his response to being told he could wear the shirt inside out or go home and change it and I thought he is the coolest kid ever.

"I'm not going to look stupid in front of all these young ladies in the school."

I went to a high school where there was a fight every day. Anyone wearing a shirt saying "I will hurt you" was thrown out on his ear. No one cared whether it was a TV show expression, nor should they.

The survival skills I learned, to lie low among the alpha males, serve me well on this board. I only had to kill two guys in high school to make it to graduation.

I'd send him back 2 grades just for being ignorant enough to waste his time watching a show starring inbred borderline retards.

He watches MSNBC?

I'm all for a dress code for kids at school. Collared shirts to start with . . .

This is not a bad idea. In a state where the high school graduation rate is 67%, and those that do graduate, only 40 percent go on to higher education..could be a time to reform the way we teach Our children and the return of focusing on education rather than style.

I would rep your gangsta ass, but the machine will not let me
