CONCORD, N.H. --The family of Brad Delp, the lead singer for the band Boston, said Wednesday his death was a suicide."He was a man who gave all he had to give to everyone around him, whether family, friends, fans or strangers," the family said in a statement relayed by police. "He gave as long as he could, as best he could, and he was very tired. We take comfort in knowing that he is now, at last, at peace."Delp, 55, died Friday at his Atkinson home. Police have said his fiancee, Pamela Sullivan, found him.Toxicology tests by the state medical examiner's office showed that Delp committed suicide by carbon monoxide poisoning, said Lt. William Baldwin. I've had him on my sig the last couple days. Was great for all rock music. Such a great singer, really led Boston very far to a become a very successful music group.It's weird though. You would have never guessed he commited suicide. Its weird, he portrayed like he was perfectly normal. He had a wife, kids, success in life. I guess some people just have another side to them. I wounder if information from the notes or letter get released

Thanks to seeing Lazy's sig, I just became aware of this. Shocking to be honest. There should be more replies, this guy was the vocals behind one of the classic rock n roll bands. Where's the love?

Exactly RokIt was sad..I didn't see any replies to this in the three days it's been up..like 3and I didn't even know he died until I read this story where there was already an investigation going on..I didn't even know dude was deadBoston was amazing..one of the most underraed rock bands in my opinion of all-timeyeah they sold a lot but they usually aren't mentioned in the same breath as other major bands of the 70s/80s

I heard he was dead, I didn't know about the suicide. RIP.I love playing More Than a Feeling on Guitar Hero... I'll play it today for him!
