It would be nice if Roy could work through this injury. Steve Smith on NBATV last night said it is tricky though, because you will never pull the cuts in practice to the degree that you do in a game.

UPDATE:

Roy saying "he will go hard Thurs practice & vs Boston"

was very active in practice, said he will play on Friday

It would be nice if Roy could work through this injury. Steve Smith on NBATV last night said it is tricky though, because you will never pull the cuts in practice to the degree that you do in a game.

I think this applies to all aspects of the game. I haven't re-watched it, but that last second shot at the ehd of the first half where Roy tried one of his turn around elevate and shoot . . . it looked like he really pushed it there (to get the shot off).
