Welcome to Twitter, @B7Roy.

well feel free to edit/close this thread

Twitter must be going crazy about it...

@Dame_Lillard: I always find myself watching B Roy highlights. That was one cold blooded man. Respect to the fullest ... Damn

Lets find the bastard who did this!

If he wants to pretend to be Roy we can make it more authentic. Tie him down and cut out his meniscus.

And give him millions of dollars lol

OT Roy is not a Blazer, he last played for the Rubes
I know you're just trying to be a dick, but Roy played for Minny like Hakeem played for Toronto, like Ewing played for the Magic, and Sheed played for the Hawks.

Roy signed his franchise crippling contract knowing his knees were fucked. Then went and signed with a division rival. Fuck him.

And like Clyde played for the Rockets . . . never mind Clyde has always referred to himself as a Rocket since then.

Yeah the moment Roy signed with Minny, I lost all respect for him.

I didn't lose respect for him. I felt bad for him though. He obviously hadn't let go of the dream to play, but the problem was that he wasn't listening to his body. He had taken a year off, his knees felt better (because he hadn't played in a year) and he thought he could give it another try. I don't blame him for that. We cut him, and he could not re-sign here because of the amnesty provisions. He had to give it another shot before he would let go of the dream, and it became painfully obvious that he was done after only playing in a handful of games with Minny.

Dude, we amnestied him. He was free to do whatever the fuck he wanted to.

And I can't blame Roy for KP and PA giving him the contract fully aware of his injury history. That's such a stupid argument.

I don't believe for a second that the Blazers or Roy believed he would deteriorate so quickly. Roy did everything possible to get back on the court and it took him 1-2 years to long to give up the game he loved. To be pissed at Roy seems silly, guarantee no one on this forum would turn down that contract even if they knew their might be a possibility that they couldn't fulfill their contract.

While disappointed he didn't stay healthy I don't blame him or the Blazers. The Blazers had no choice but sign him and Roy had no choice but take the money. Can you imagine how many season ticket holders would have cancelled if the Blazers didn't sign BRoy.

Never thought I'd see the day where a blazer fan would say - fuck brandon Roy. Pessimist party of one

Honestly I'm not a huge fan if Roy either. So glad we have dame, he is a better face of the franchise. Definitely more personable.

Wow. I really liked Roy, I thought he was an incredible player to watch and a great face of the franchise. I still feel bad that we never got to see a healthy Roy and Oden play together.

I would have killed for a healthy Roy-Lillard back court. Yes I know we would not have been in position for Damian with a healthy
BRoy, but damn they would be fun to watch together.

Unstoppable, best backcourt in the nba. Definitely championship contenders, probably favorites in west if we replace Wes with a healthy/in his prime BRoy.

That backcourt would be the worst defensive backcourt in the history of basketball existence

KP himself said in an interview several years ago that he knew

Can you imagine Roy having to put up with Felton? That would have been hilarious. He would have strangled Felton.

I don't think it would. I think dame will be a good defender. His improvement or lack of it this offseason will tell us a lot.

Dame and Roy are polar opposites as players. Roy is an ISO guy who held the ball for 20 seconds and Lillard is a guy who needs a flowing offense to thrive.

He didn't in college.

A different coach, different offense.... the dude would have adapted. Add a couple of guys spreading the floor and he and Lillard would have lots of room to work their magic.......
