Peter Malnati fired a 5-under 66 Sunday and pulled away from the field late to win the Brasil Champions presented by HSBC at the Sao Paulo Golf Club.
Malnati covered four bogeys with nine birdies, including three in a row to widen his victory margin and earn his second career title. The win was worth $153,000 and pushed the University of Missouri grad from No. 88 to No. 2 on the Web.com Tour money list after four weeks.
