The flood limit is no two posts from one person per 4 seconds. You'll get a "you must wait x seconds before posting again" dialog, which is normal.

I can try setting it to 0 seconds, like it was all along until the past few days. Setting it to 4 really cut down on the server errors at our previous hosting location. It may not be necessary here.
