That was the best scene!

That was the best hour of TV-scripted drama I've seen in my life. It surpassed the hype, which I didn't think was possible, and the pacing of Hank and Walt already having the initial confrontation was such a relief. Most shows would drag that out for 3-4 episodes, but not Breaking Bad!

I watched the last scene in Hank's garage 4 times. If Dean Norris doesn't get an Emmy nomination for this episode, then there is no reason to have the award. I'm watching Under the Dome solely because of him, and wow, what a difference it makes for an actor when they are working with different scripts. Under the Dome is Norris trying to make Chicken Salad out of chicken shit. This episode of Breaking Bad is Norris (and Cranston, but Cranston is maybe the best TV actor of his generation) adding perfect cooking technique and just the right sauce to a beautifully cut and bred Filet Mignon.

Heisenberg is Spock, Kirk is Hank, Scottie is Jesse, Skyler is Uhura, and Chekov is the Czechs who supply the methylene via Lydia. I think I see foreshadowing. :)

Can't believe Walter called him out on the GPS tracker thing right away like that!

Walt didn't do it. Heisenberg made that call.

Interesting that the big yellow "Heisenberg" was spray painted in Walt's house in the flashforward scene. Seems like something neither the cops/feds nor Jesse would do. Also makes more sense that WW would get a big gun to defend himself against a cartel as opposed to the cops or Jesse.

My personal opinion is it was Jesse that did that. I think that evil finally consumed Walt and Jesse was the only person that could save him. Walt was getting the poison to try and kill Jesse. I think Walt killed hank and his wife at this point and his final move is to kill Jesse. In the end, I think Jesse finally kills Walt and the story ends.

ehh. too busy to watch tv shows and movies. short dumb reruns like family guy and seinfeld is where its at.

too busy? you have over 16K posts on here since 2010. Me thinks you're not THAT busy.

I finally got to see this episode and this is pretty much exactly how I feel about it. Completely brilliant and mesmerizing, my expectations were far exceeded and fucking Breaking Bad did it again! Although I have felt the same way many times in the life of Breaking Bad. I didn't think they were going there so fast with Walter and Hank, and the flash forwards answer so many questions but raise so much more. They also created another instant classic TV moment with "If you don't know who your talking to then your best to tread lightly." One more observation, in the lines of the Walter exhibiting traits of who has killed theory, was that in the cash register scene with Lydia in the beginning seemed to be a very Gus moment.

Ending this show is so bitter sweet.

7 episodes left! When is the finale........gotta cancel work that night!

Jesse Pinkman/Aaron Paul just did a question and answer thing on Reddit -

My prediction: Declan (http://breakingbad.wikia.com/wiki/Declan) is responsible for the "Heisenberg" spray painted in WW's place. Keep in mind that Walt's famous "say my name" speech occurred when they met. I don't know what their deal was but I reckon Declan can't be happy that Walt's out because he wanted the 99.1% meth, which Lydia indicates is no longer being produced. I think Declan (or maybe Lydia/the German side of the cartel?) threaten Walt and his family if he doesn't deliver on the good meth. Walt tells them to fuck off and then comes home to "Heisenberg" spray painted on the wall and someone in his family dead. If I had to guess; Walt's son found dead in the pool.

The pool seems like a homage to the Sopranos, symbolizing family. Seeing the kids skateboarding in the empty pool reminded me of the end the Sopranos. Why the son? Well all along you had to figure he'd have some kind of more prominent role or moment in the series. I think this is it. Skylar proceeds to freak the fugg out and wants to go to the cops. If we're to believe the theory that Walt kills her, then this is the reason why.

fascinating and believable, could be. There are so many could be's and moving parts in this series though. Without doing much research I was just figuring that Walter had been outed as Heisenburg and the spray paint was a sort of mocking by the local kids, who were skating in the pool. The family was gone and Walter was on his own running from the law or the gang. I couldn't figure out why the house was fenced off though. I like your version better, and agree that the pool probably plays some sort of greater roll, as it has played major roles in the past, anywhere from Sklyer trying to drown in it to Walter sitting by it and pondering whatever. In fact this last episode started at the pool, which was the last time the family (Hank and Marie included) was whole.

I've just decided to vote for anyone and everyone to die and view Walt as the villain. It seems easier to let go of this series like that and vote for a spectacular ending. I think I have figured out their format though. We will see bits and pieces of the ending at the beginning of every episode, starting with the empty house and Walt getting the ricin, but we wont see the final twist till the last episode. Kind of like how the did the second season with the plane crash.

The house would be fenced off if it's a crime scene, and if the cops thought that there was meth cooking there. What I think happened is the cops went in, found no evidence of cooking, but at this point the house is abandoned. Remember, Walt and Skyler had paid off that house, so it's not like there is a bank to take it.

Wonder if the next door neighbor freaked out seeing Walt because everybody thought he was dead, or how he was portrayed in the media as a monster like I'm sure would happen.
