@BonesJones FYI 2:55 thru 5:35 music comes in blaring over the commentary, can't hear what else you said after that :dunno:
Thanks for pointing that out. I tried putting it down to -25 but I guess it didnt register the -2 and instead turned it up 5.

Stupid name of video so not worth watching. Of course he deserves it.

The NBA's current payroll trends can't be sustained. Pretty soon you will have a league where every team has 3 guys making $30-40 mil and 12 guys making league minimum. How do you build a team under that kind of structure? Dame is a good player and a nice guy, but hell no he doesn't deserve it. Wall, Westbrick, and Harden don't deserve their super-max deals either. At most, this is the kind of deal that only a Jordan or Duncan should be getting.

Hate on me all you want, but until the salary cap system is changed no merely good player should be eating up 20% or more of the payroll.

I know this...Dame will probably spend and invest a lot of his dolla's in the state of Oregon...he likes to be home, hates to take vacations..that contract will benefit the city in a variety of ways...it's not like he's in New York City shopping...he's in Portland shopping..I like that our superstar will continue to spend in Oregon for years to come.

Next CBA there needs to be a salary cap adjustment. Increasing it by 25-30% would be smart.
