As for having "Russian ties", that would seem to be a very good thing for those opposed to world war lll or a new cold war.

Having high-ranking politicians with virtually no knowledge of Russia or Russians has put us on the brink of extinction several times.

The acting Attorney General, the one later fired, warned early on that Flynn was susceptible to blackmail because he lied. Nothing was done until the "crooked media", the "opposition" who should "keep quiet" published "fake news" that made Flynn untenable.

But it was a wonderful resignation. Just terrific. The best resignation ever.

According to the NY Times, Flynn may have lied to the FBI during investigation.

Flynn, you may recall, led the "lock her up" chants during the 2016 campaign.
He is also the person who claimed that signs were posted in Arabic in the Southwest desert to guide terrorists coming across the Mexican border, citing no evidence. But none was needed since, according to Kellyanne Conway, there was no proof the signs were NOT there, even though no one had seen them. But the best cabinet, the smartest, highest IQ, most wonderful cabinet ever.

Congressman Devin Nunes, chair of House Intelligence Committee, said there would be no investigation,. Yesterday he said it was a lot of nothing and Flynn would keep his job. Today he cites executive privilege. Jason Chaffetz, chair of he House Oversight Committee, refuses to answer questions. He is, however, planning another investigation into Hillary Clinton's emails.
