I'm quite sure there are plenty of radical Islamists who are giving billions of people a bad rap. And a few really bad apples can do a lot of damage.

Thing is, I've met and known quite a few muslims and they're peace loving and friendly people like most anyone else.

Oh yeah, I met a lot at PSU and were pretty good friends with a small crew. They were cool as hell, great people, just like anyone else could be. For some of them, their lives were more dictated and confined to their religion, but that's their choice and I have no problems with that (but I think that's why some viewed them as different from the general population of Americans). I think the majority of the world is against violence and the harming of other human beings, and that sentiment doesn't escape the Muslim community.

Instead, the FBI closed the case after deeming it worthless, and then the guy maimed a bunch of people 2 years later. The hearings on this one should be insane.

I don't know if it is a good point but she does have a point (if true) that the government has kept tabs on the older brother. If they were looking to setup someone then he would be a convenient target. Conspiracy theoriest may have a field day over this one. Now that doesn't answer how they could get video and pictures of these boys there and other items but she does seem pretty adamant that her son was being watched at almost all times.

The mother speaks amazingly fluent English. Has she lived in the U.S.? I had no idea she knew any English.
