I really think the next jump is not a woman jumping to the NBA, but maybe playing in the NBADL. The only reason someone would draft her would be to make a statement and waste a 2nd round pick.
The Rocket announcers were just talking about this. They think there will be a perimeter lady player that makes it in the NBA someday. Their point is that you could put a lady on LeBron's team and he would take enough of the defensive attention to get a woman an open 3.
That is certainly the only possible chance. A skinny, weak, nonathletic, 6'8" post player would have zero chance.
It has to be at a position where the "strength factor" is not as necessary as the "skill factor"
