We are still learning about the long term consequences of COVID and by extension, the vaccine.

It's very possible that COVID could have played a part in this.

What about one of my best friends Tyrelle Jackson who died from a heart attack right in front of us on the court at Irving park in the summer of ‘91? COVID? Keep all this shit over on the OT page. Mods get this shit under control.

I have a bum ticker and had one long before covid....since my vaccinations and boosters my heart rate has stabilized beyond anything I was experiencing before covid. All of my heart doctors are fully vaccinated...and none have died from heart failure, nor have any young athletes in any sports I follow. I check my heart rate daily and have for 8 years now...if covid vaccines caused heart failure, I'm the first guy who'd die from it...I've had the opposite experience...never felt better.Scientic method is demonstrable. the vast majority of basketball players have been vaccinated and not one NBA player has died on the court yet since covid. If you got covid early, it can incubate in your internal organs and cause health issues down the road from my understanding. As it is, the world I live around is healthy, happy and vaccinated. My children and grandchildren have no ill effects from being vaccinated to date. Check the fatalities from non vaccinated covid victims compared to vaccinated covid victims...it's not even a slightly close.

So it was Covid vaccines that caused it?
Or Covid-19 that caused it?
How about steroids or other drug use?
Maybe a birth defect or other heart problem?

Maybe uninformed speculation isn’t a particularly helpful pastime?

Let's keep the politics out of this thread. That's for OT. Let's also keep dangerous speculation out too. It's disrespectful to use Bronny's heart attack to push any such narrative.

I guess cardiac arrest and heart attack aren't the same thing. I did not know that.
A heart attack occurs when there is blockage of an artery (blood vessel) that supplies blood to the heart tissue. This causes a lack of oxygen supply, death of heart cells, and symptoms like chest pain, but the heart usually keeps beating.

By contrast, cardiac arrest means that the heart stops beating.
