Bumping of old threads

Maybe we could have a poll thread about bumping off old threads? If a thread gets bumped an obnoxious amount of times, we take a poll to decide whether to send it into cyberspace oblivion.
 
The Big deal this is made out to be makes me think nothing big goes on in many members' lives to help provide levity to the emotional impact this is having on some of you.

Reminds me on one of the dispatchers/ order desk guys at the company I worked for many years. His saying was, "this is a great job if I didn't have to deal with customers"
 
bump...this thread was getting old faster than wonder bread in Arizona
 
I was going to start a thread called "Creating of old threads." Then I was going to make a thread about Portland getting an NBA team.
 
I personally hate the bumping of old threads. It’s a total waste of time, in my opinion. I have no interest in rehashing a thread from five years ago, and it’s confusing as hell if you don’t know it’s old.
 
Somebody here started digging up posts of mine from 2014 or something and posting them as giant screen shots....I thought it was uncool...also out of context ..found it creepy someone would dig that far to make some weird comparison
 
The bumping of these threads is no big deal. I think it's kinda funny really. What's NOT funny, people creating a ton of threads when random thought pops up in their geek brain. Or starting a thread that is just a post that could just simply be posted in 3 other threads currently on the front page.

I made fun of someone else doing that and mocked them. your boy bnm left because of it.

I actually agree and was making a Point aBout not needing a thread for every thought.

I still think bnm misunderstood my fun that morning.
I miss his posts...

Id take them back if i could...

As an example, I'd rather pull out an old relative file out of the file cabinet..and add to it....rather than continue to make new files. Seems like the efficient thing to do.

Zombie-ism is pulling an old thread on a topic that was relevant in the past and ticking people off when they realize that the subject title was something being discussed three years ago.

So it's about penis size? Fuck, I'm wrong all the time. Why not have a sticky thread about being wrong so those with micro penises, or that have wives that carry their balls in their purse can go and masturbate to?
