Bumping of old threads

So it's about penis size? Fuck, I'm wrong all the time. Why not have a sticky thread about being wrong so those with micro penises, or that have wives that carry their balls in their purse can go and masturbate to?

Kinky

I see you are a flunky also.

Its not even about that, its about relevant threads that people try and keep track of getting buried beneath a bunch of random stuff from a decade ago, and then people have to sort through the mess.
But if nobody is interested in the Zombie thread it will sink rapidly. If you don't like them just ignore them... It's pretty simple.

What if it just hangs low enough that she has to follow me around to help me carry it.

Bad back, ya know?

Hard to ignore when someone bumps 5 of them...

Again, if nobody else comments on them they will be gone soon. I don't see the problem...
The problem is it only takes 5% of the community to comment on them to keep them near the top...

Because nobody else is commenting on other threads and so many people whine about people making new threads that there isn't as much turnover on the front page as there could be otherwise.

Newsflash: All the whining and complaining about "this kind of post" or "that kind of post" makes for a more static front page.

If we are interesting enough for people to want to talk with us (and if we don't run them off by whining about how they post) there might be more new and possibly more interesting content on the front page...

Or people could stop randomly bumping zombie threads so that they never appeared at the top...

IDK?
Seems like the only people that have problems with the old threads are people who said things that they don’t want repeated?
It’s called accountability and it brings a small bit of reality to the internet. I for one don’t mind them at all.

Who are you talking to?

How does 5 post thread about Antonio Daniels being bumped bring "reality" and "accountability" to the forum? It seems like you're trying hard to find an angle on people that isnt there.

There is a date on the threads... It's not complicated.
Maybe its a settings thing, but the only date thats shown for me is the date (time) of the last post.

There is no indication of when the thread originated before going into it.

Sorry, that's what I meant. But as soon as you click it the date is right there. It should be pretty easy to ignore after that. But certainly the Zombie tags should solve this problem now.
