Bungies new game "Destiny"

Thread title was supposed to say Bungies, but my auto correct pulled a quick one on me.


I pre ordered the game a while ago, it is set to come out fairly soon. One of the perks of pre ordering was that I get access to their beta which is going on over the next few days.

I'm participating on the Xbox one, however the game is coming out for 360 as well as PS3/4. Is anyone else participating in the beta?

Not true, did it with my level 5 hunter. Albeit I had the sniper rifle and an auto-rifle setup.

Anyone else pre order it? If best buy doesn't have mine in the mail Tuesday I'll be going to the store to pick up a different copy.

The supposed amount of extra content, even level 1-8 is amazing. I don't know if you guys have been checking the weekly updates on the bungie site or not, but they have given a little insight to the end game. Sounds like the end game raids will be 1 week lock outs, so it is going to be long/difficult enough that it could take hours of game play to complete the raids.

I like that they have a one week lockout time (if you kill a boss you can't get any more weapon or armor drops from it for 7 days) so that the people who can play extensive hours every day don't have an advantage.

It seems like the amount of NPCs in the city is doubled. There are some new emblem vendors for unique unlock able emblems.

The iron banner(this was the multiplayer event which let you play on mars and earth) event lasts much longer in the live version.

Again I'm on xbox one if any of you are getting Destiny on that console then let me know!

Fred Meyers has $450 ps4 bundle. You get the white ps4, dual shock 4 controller and this game. My friend gets 10% off so seriously thinking about this. Not sold on this game. But if anything I'll trade it in when fifa comes out

Fred Meyers has $450 ps4 bundle. You get the white ps4, dual shock 4 controller and this game. My friend gets 10% off so seriously thinking about this. Not sold on this game. But if anything I'll trade it in when fifa comes out

its gonna be worth it man. Just from the Alpha I was hooked. Let alone the Beta and real game. But if you are trading in, watch out on bundles. Make sure its physical copy of the game. A lot of bundles anymore do Digital copy of the games in bundles.

I have been waiting so long for NHL 15 to come out because I traded my PS3 in when I got my PS4 that I'm not sure what game to get first? I know most people would say Destiny but I really enjoy the NHL games and they come out on the same day.

yep I'm with you. I am sooo burnt out on mindless shooting games. Actually in competetive gaming in general.

The thing I loved about this, it was like Co-op Borderlands but a little more refined. So yes its first person, but to me it felt like more of an MMO, co-op, loot drop game. Borderlands, meets, Halo, Meets Diablo.

Just my thoughts on what I got out of it.
