Really though, it just comes down to its cheap as shit to live here and if you like nature stuff that makes it bearable. People keep to themselves too, and you don't see much blue hair and large frame glasses, just camo jackets. Everywhere. Including in Jury Duty.

Theres a bunch of youtube videos like that. Chinese people eating panda express for the first time. Australians eating out cereal, beer, etc. The first time. They are pretty good.

Watched a few...the Australians think our beer is water, though they like moonshine apparently...and they like our snacks...

Irish people love Lucky Charms, they are at a loss for why we make them, but they love them

And the meth is cheap

I realized that, and was just poking at you, with the mental aspect of it. Nothing wrong with 300. Sounds like you've dropped a lot, and that's great too. Seriously. My Dad has been 350-400 @ 5'2" for many years. Just my opinion, but he seems pretty normal to me.... :)
I'm 6'2" and 467 was pretty easy for me in my 30s. At 300 give or take a few I feel better in my early 40s.

Funny Muchas was mentioned because on my 24th birthday I was 245. Then I was introduced to Muchas on 4th plain in Vancouver one night after playing hoops with my friends

I got hooked on that shit and was 320 in probably 6 months. Maybe less. They knew my car and would tell me my order before I said anything.

"Carne Asada chips no salsa and Oregon Burrito no salsa. That will be 9.25."

So you were HCP before HCP was HCP.

SE Portland and Salem...

Is your last name Ephrem or Ristick?

Walery's!

...a close second, but Paddington's is still superior IMO -- their crust seems to have more flavor and their cheese seems to be higher quality -- and don't forget their mini pepperonis that curl up into little bowls of goodness!

You guys sure do set the bar awfully low.....but then, when that is all that's available.....

...nah, it's just that these places have a style of pizza that is not easily found in other parts of the state (let alone anywhere else in the US).

That last sentence speaks volumes about Salem in general.......

Qualifier......if I sound like a cynical, bitter old man when it comes to Salem, I spent almost 30 years there as an employee of that "paradise"........death would have been a welcome release. Some of my closest friends in this life still live there. I try not to hold that against them......

I hear ya man. Ready for my girlfriend to finish her MBA so I can move back up north. I will not be looking in my rear view as I leave, that's for sure.
