I bet we pursue him.
He's mentioned he'd love to sign in Toronto...fans would love it...he won't come here I wouldn't think...always good when a great player from a franchise can retire thereI'm not sure how many "contending" teams really would take a chance on him considering the health risks involved. Everyone knows he can play. But I think Bosh is seriously not thinking this out. He's achieved everything, and it's a little selfish to his family to risk it. Sure! if there's NO risk to dying out there on the floor, then let'er rip. But his condition seems to not allow for that.
The only chance we'd have is if we were the only team willing to risk him dying on the court.
Huh?Turkish. Not coming here. The word is out.
If he is turkish he's probably Muslim, Nurkic and Aminu are also muslims, they could recruit himTurkish. Not coming here. The word is out.
Facetious reference to several years ago when Hedo Turkoglu spurned our offer to go to Toronto, allegedly in part because he was disappointed with Portland's lack of a Turkish community.Huh?

I always thought Kanter signing an offer with us equaled out the Turkey glue issue for me ..Kanter would have been perfect in PortlandFacetious reference to several years ago when Hedo Turkoglu spurned our offer to go to Toronto, allegedly in part because he was disappointed with Portland's lack of a Turkish community.
Who would Ilyasova replace in the rotation? Aminu? Harkless? Ed Davis?
We can't seem to get any guy to agree with us.
I bet it will come out that we were his 2nd choice.

Yeah, we coulda Shabazzed the other teams to death..........Wow--didn't expect Shabazz to be a waiver option. I'd have loved to have added him.
Our bench, outside of Bazz and Ed Davis, is fucking abysmal right now. I wish we would have picked someone up.
Be realistic, we have some great bench players, they just happen to start.

Quality hip hop reference FAMS!I wish we would've kept Vonleh.
I wish we would've drafted a scoring wing.
I wish we could've convinced someone that trading a small guy for Meyers would have been a wise move.
I wish I was a little bit taller, I wish I was a baller...
It's not going to be Ariza. They've already bought out Chandler - are we sure that's not who it was?- Trevor Ariza (They alluded to guys on Phoenix, and Ariza was my best guess)
Please please please.... always loved Ilyasova.
We have no need for any of these guys at this point. We'd be better off letting our young guards have more pt and let Jake & Zach develop.Bump.
Marks was on the Woj podcast and they mentioned a few names that could be bought out later this season. They also said the feeling around the league is there will be more than usual this year.
- Robin Lopez
- Trevor Ariza (They alluded to guys on Phoenix, and Ariza was my best guess)
- Anthony Tolliver
- Wesley Matthews
- Zach Randolph
- Kosta Koufus
- Iman Shumpert
- Enes Kanter
- JR Smith
- Melo
I think pretty much all these guys would interest me on some level, minus JR Smith.

I still think Kanter is perfect in Stotts system...ZBo finishing his career in Portland would be a great story..from the bad boys to the good guys era..I'd rather have Trent Jr., Simons and Baldwin than Wes at this point in his career and I'd rather have Collins than Rolo..Collins will break out of his slump, he's young. Rolo is just too slow for our pace now in my view. Ariza would replace Mo well if Mo has issues. I'd still rather have Layman than Ariza although Ariza at this point in his career is a way better defender.
A plug and play guy who's a free agent unsigned and knows our system that I like bringing back is Gerald Henderson. Put him next to Chief and Nurk and you've got a defensive juggernaut ..and he's like Turner in that he's a vocal floor general. Great fit if we're looking for a vet.
