Remeber this guy? the Nets 2004 second round pick?

Christian Drejer will be playing with Virtus Roma against the Raptors in an exihibition game. Drejer will wear number 10.

16 points in first half... Lottomatica Roma leading in close game.

HA!

I don't care about him, because he has no chance on making this team.

Well.. I do... And I know he has no shot at this team, due to one crappy summer league performance. Perhaps they should give him another shot now he has matured a bit, turning 24 years old.

LOL you're so opinionated, do you know we have his draft rights, he can be brought here in the future. I can't believe you'd feel that way about a Net prospect.

Damn, I was reading and I fell asleep before the game started.

I wish they had a boxscore online. Drejer seems to be having a nice game.

Thanks!

4/7 from downtown, 6/9 overall.

Drejer has some nice handles and seems to be close in height to Chris Bosh.

Didn't Stefansson play in the NBA before? I know I've heard that name before.

Allan Ray's playing like poop. shooting way too much, making way too little.

That's pretty unfair. There are very few jobs available in the NBA given the number of professional players in the world. He may have a difficult road to get there, but regardless of his future, I wish him nothing but the best. He seems like a good guy. It's not his fault that he's not as good as an NBA superstar; he's still entitled to try to make a living playing the game as best he can. Not to mention that he could just be a lat bloomer . . . roughly seven years ago, you could have said the same thing--and had the same attitude--about Anthony Parker.

23 points on 12 shots vs. an NBA team is nothing to diminish. He played well and exposed the Raptors' porous perimiter defense.

He is averaging half that in the Italian league.

He has my vote for best nicknames ever.

He has had several...

--Hamlet of the Hardwoods, when he was at Florida

--El Enigma, given him by El Pais, the Spanish newspaper, when he played for FC Barcelona.

--il Depresso, given him by il Resto di Carlino, the Italian newspaper, when he played for Virtus Bologna.

i was wishing a few years ago that a zoran planinic (6'7")/christian drejer (6'10") backcourt bench would flourish with the nets...

he and jumaine jones can be invited to the summer league next year as insurance if boki signs somewhere else...

Well, that's not that hard to do.

It'd be cool if Drejer came to the Nets in an upcoming season and actually produced...but I'm not getting my hopes up.
