Sept. 5 (UPI) -- Portland Trail Blazers star C.J. McCollum is already in midseason form when it comes to trash talk.

McCollum posted a video on Twitter Monday, spoofing the hit show Law & Order: Special Victims Unit. Instead, he called his version: Law & Order: C.J.'s Victims Unit.

The video featured the show's theme song and said: "starring C.J. McCollum." McCollum donned a suit at the beginning of the spoof.

The one-minute clip also featured the Dallas Mavericks.

McCollum's video then showed off several highlights from his season against the Mavericks.

"Happy Monday," McCollum tweeted Monday.

Kevin Durant responded to the video saying that McCollum crossed him over.

"CJ McCollum dropped me off reaaaalll smooth this year. I had to pay homage lol," Durant tweeted.

He also got some love from other players in the league.

"You better not ever think about putting me on here!!!" Washington Wizardsguard Tim Frazier tweeted.

"Don't worry your time is coming," McCollum tweeted.

"Don't worry it could always be reversed and you be on the other end of this!!!" Frazier tweeted.

"It's all apart of the sport. I take my lumps and get it movin," McCollum tweeted.

The Blazers and the Wizards face off on Nov. 25 and Dec. 5.

Looked like a good natured bit of trash talking to an ex teammate. No harm, no foul.

The author of this article is also pretty dumb, if I may.

Imagine Kobe Bryant doing shit like this to the Blazers after the 2000 finals. You only love it when the guy is on your side.

Because some random regular season games have the same impact as one of the biggest conference finals choke job. You need to ask Sly to fix your code (again)

The Butt Hurt Billionaire. I think he has more in common with Trump than he'd like to admit.

He's like the proud mama of the Mavs. If you watch him on Shark Tank, you get the impression that he's a diva.

CJ does this all in fun. He posted one of him destroying Dirk's ankles and Dirk fired back. Obviously both having fun. Cuban needs to stay out of this kinda thing.

Cuban wishes he was part of the club. No matter the club, he wants to be in it. It infuriates him that, even as an owner, he's not part of the players' club.

Cuban is a putz. He takes such exception to Trump only because Trump beat him to the punch and took social media stardom to another level.

All of you praising this would be the first ones crying foul if someone did this to our team.

All ofvyou complaining about Cuban getting involved look in a damn mirror. You are doing the same thing

Context matters. My presumption is that it was a teasing jab (step) at an ex teammate. I suspect (from my vantage point here in the cheap, cheap, cheap seats) that Wes and CJ are cool, and they can each take the banter the other dishes out.

At the same time, you are probably right :)

(Well, except for the "all" part.)

Right, because random anonymous fans posting in a team forum is exactly the same thing as the team owner posting on social media.

Our guys are fully capable of taking care of themselves. Did C.J. need Paul Allen to come to his rescue when Chandler Parsons foolishly took a jab at the Blazers on Twitter. Fuck no, C.J. promptly put him in his place.

Easy with the name calling bro.
