Cake: Overrated?

I hate Cake. I would much rather have a brownie, cookie, or ice cream. I hate the frosting, I hate little sprinkles, so I especially hate cupcakes.

Cake was/is an ok band. I saw them open for Radiohead once. I was there to see Radiohead. When Radiohead came on, I found that the lead singer of Cake was standing right beside me. Coolest dude. We hung out and talked Radiohead the entire night. Awesome experience. Average band (Cake).

Cake itself is definitely overrated. Unless you're talking Cheese Cake, which by definition I do not think falls in to the OP's definition of cake. Brownies rock the basic cake idea. And that's a fact.

I hate brownies. Too much chocolate. I also hate chocolate cake, but I like white and yellow cakes. I LOVE carrot cake and German chocolate cake. Not really a fan of ice cream either.

Carrot cake is the best.

The band is decent and yes their cover of I Will Survive is epic.

Cake is the ultimate dessert, but not the easiest to make. Most people who dislike cake have never had a properly made cake. Same with frosting.

Brownies are just a dense cake.

I like a good cake. (red velvet and tres leches being my favorites) However, for me, nothing beats a good pie. I could literally eat pie everday. Cherry, pumpkin, apple, any of the creams, key lime on and on. Cheesecake is another wicked treat I might like better than cake
