Alright Blazers Broadcasting needs your help. Tomorrow night with the Bucks visiting, we need the very latest latest latest updated info on the Dame to Milwaukee trade. Where we sit as of TODAY with all the players, future considerations, pick swaps etc!

Everybody bitches about our show, we’ll now you can put your mouth breather skills to good use, not evil.
Unite and bring in the info.

Whoever helps the most we’ll send a case of hard drives and Cheetos directly to your mom’s basement!
LFG!!!!

They traded him for stuff.

I'll play along.

Portland traded Lillard, Nurk, Keon Johnson, and Nassir Little, for Toumani Camara, Deandre Ayton, Jrue Holiday, a 2029 unprotected Mil. pick and swaps with them in '28 and '30.

So, So far
PDX Out: Lillard, Nurk, Johnson, Little
PDX In: Camara, Ayton, Holiday, 28, 29 30.

THEN, Portland turned around and traded Jrue for Malcolm Brogdon, RW3, a 2024 pick from GSW, and a '29 Boston pick

So now we've got

PDX Out: Lillard, Nurk, Johnson, Little
PDX In: Camara, Ayton, Brogdon, RW3, '24 pick, '28 Mil swap, '29 picks from Boston and Milwaukee, '30 Mil swap

The final deal of the Lillard trade, we moved Brogdon, that '24 pick, the middle of the '29 picks, and 2 nds for Deni.

So the final tally looks like:

PDX Out: Lillard, Nurk, Keon, Nassir, '28 2nd, '30 2nd
PDX In: Camara, Ayton, RW3, Deni, '28 Mil swap, '30 Mil swap, best and worst between '29 picks of Boston, PDX and Mil.

If you want to stretch it even further, even though that's really where the trade ends, we then turned around and waived Ayton, and signed Lillard with the MLE opened up. We also moved Simons basically straight up for Jrue back.
So if you ignore the missed 2 seasons of Jrue and Dame, and don't count the seasons we were stuck with Ayton and had Anfernee, it all kinda boils down to

PDX Out: Simons, Nurk, Keon, Nassir, '28 2nd, '30 2nd
PDX In: Deni, Camara, Jrue, RW3, '28 Mil swap, '30 Mil swap, best and worst between '29 picks of Boston, PDX and Mil.

WOW! Thanks @RR7 ! Glad to see somebody steeping up to help @THE HCP when he is in need.

What would you say the accuracy is of this (not that I’m questioning you) ?

This is great man thank you

Way more accurate than anything I would have come up with.
I would have just said we gave up guys that had us in the playoffs and picked up dudes that didn’t and now those dudes have some of the guys back that should get us back to the playoffs but they are older and we got some young guys now with a few more young guys coming.
Oh and now China likes us but not really yet.
Then there is a problem with our coach being under investigation and he’s probably not coming back but we did sell the team so some are happy and the game threads are still comical.
All in all we still have Mrs HCP to hold us all together.

pretty accurate and it kind of shows that components of a trade can flow and meander thru the years

Dame didn't just appear in a Blazer uniform by magic. Portland traded Gerald Wallace for the draft pick they used to add Dame. So, Blazers traded Gerald Wallace for Camara and some picks and swaps. But they couldn't have traded for Wallace without Joel Przybilla. So, once again the root of all things blazers is a vanilla gorilla

Loved me some Joel Przybilla! I think it’s safe to say he had a bigger impact on our franchise than Dame ever did!!!

The 2011 pick we sent to Charlotte for Wallace was obtained from N.O. for Jerryd Bayless. We traded the #13 pick alongside Jarret Jack to get up to 11 to get Bayless. We sent Denver 27 and 35 to move up to 22 to get Jack.

Of course, we obtained 27 from Utah, along with a future pick and #6 for the #3 pick.
That #3 pick was ours, so it looks like the Lillard trade goes ALL the way back to our failed 2005 draft when we could have just taken Chris Paul at #3. A loooooong roundabout way of getting from CP3 to Dame, Deni and picks?

For me at least, it's important to point out that the pick and picks swaps from Milwaukee are unprotected.
I think Boston's pick (their own pick) is also unprotected but it's unlikely Boston will be in the lottery in 2029 or even in the middle.

PDX Out: Lillard, Nurk, Johnson, Little
PDX In: Camara, Ayton, Brogdon, RW3, '24 pick, Unprotected '28 Mil swap, Unprotected '29 picks from Boston and Milwaukee, Unprotected '30 Mil swap
