Well, this was a close one too me, but i think Got skillz kinda came out strong(despite the anoying canada jokes) at least stronger then the other. Also Gotskillz had some killer lines,(the ones above).Locke had some real nice stuff, and wasnt completely based around"Canada>NYC" sometimes that get s anoying. Like i said, close, but i feel GotSkillz92 came out with it with his knockout lines

GotSkillz' best punchlines were better than Locke's best. In terms of creativity, both were fairly equal. The difference was in flow and consistency. Every one of Locke's lines led into the next. GotSkillz, on the other hand, had would have rhyme with different topics and none of them really matched each other. It was like a random jumble of insults. For example:

They'd have like 3 different insults in them that weren't related to each other. Locke also had less filler lines.

I vote for Locke.


btw Locke, that 9/11 line was good. Spending 6 lines apologizing for it wasn't. You shouldn't be sorry for what you say in a battle, because its all an exaggeration anyways.
 
Both of you alls rhymes are tragic and monosyllabic.

I do think in retrospect now though that 6 lines was too much.
 
Locke came better in this battle. Gotskillz hate for Canada was annoying.

Exactly - those two lines for me jumped out as killer lines. Locke's rhymes proved he's a smart dude but they didn't sound as good as Gotskillz in terms of flow. Gotskillz loses a point for CH insane in the brain - it's like he squeezed CH in there to try and make it fit, then you have to figure out what CH is = oh okay Cypress HIll.
But Locke also lost a point for saying "a force to be reckoned" - you're missing the word "with" - reckoned WITH - as it is it doesn't make much sense......good luck in the official winter tournament

Suprisingly, Gotskillz was pretty good in this battle, but also to my suprise..Locke had some decent stuff up his sleeve. But the lines that CPaul posted stuck out to me also..very nice.

Flow- Gotskilz flow was off, had to many long bars that did not flow very well
Locke's flow was better although not that great.
Punches- Both of you had some pretty decent ones, but Locke had a lot of ish that didnt even rhyme:

Could rhyme in real life, but you would have to mispronounce the word clear and make it sound more like clair

He's right Mamba. Just give a sentence as to why Locke came out better in this battle.
 
I felt like Locke flowed better. THe punchlines were equal. The thing that lost it for skillz was that some of his rhymes sounded wordy, forced, and elementary.

Nice battle.

Can't say I necessarily agree with some of the critique but that's life.
