I don't doubt it.

They'll both work their way out of the slump. I believe they are both better shooters than they have shown so far.

It's easy to pick apart a guy's game when he's down and struggling, that said..

To ME, It's plain to see why the Blazers wanted Felton in the first place, he's fast and furious. He's got the makings of a Steve Nash or a Jason Kidd. Obviously he's been a bit too furious so far this year, to the point of missing wide open shots and passing the ball to teammates who aren't even looking. BUT, IMO that can all be attributed to a few things that will work themselves out come playoff time:

1.) He hasn't really had the reigns of a Team in quite some time and every game has been a refresher course for him. Yes he's failed a lot of tests, but that's how you learn.
2.) Practice. Your talking about Practice!?! Yes, it's extremely important for a PG, and this team has had virtually none.
3.) Conditioning. Playing point in the NBA is by far the most difficult position conditioning wise. And we all know how far Felton's had to come.

Absolutely. Being fat and out of shape when it was time to report to camp, especially given his particular situation was a huge red flag. A slump is one thing and completely understandable and something you should let work itself out, but the kind of unprofessional behavior we've witnessed and the questions of motivation about a 28 year old player usually leads me to believe somebody is kind of tired of their job, or they've made enough money that they no longer care about trying.

Even if he turns it around by the end of the year I want him gone.

Yeah, I laughed when he compared Felton to Nash and Kidd. Both those guys have more BBIQ and floor vision in their pinky fingers than Felton has in his entire oversized belly.
