Neither is a non-repentant tax cheat. Now, go and sin no more.

so why not be honest and just say you think non-repentent homosexuals are not going to heaven. why bother with all the PC 'only god can judge' stuff?

would you be surprised to run into Hitler in heaven? aren't all sins equal in the eyes of god?

why bother with all the PC 'only god can judge' stuff?

Because, that's what the Word of God says. (I Samuel 16:7). There's nothing pc about that at all.

Weird that you think there's a heaven from which everyone is kept out.

I said nothing about keeping people out.

Although most are too dense or unappreciative to notice, we are all born into "heaven" and live our entire lives here without ever leaving.

There's no chance of anyone "going to" heaven since it is the only place we ever exist.

I sometimes think that "belief" in a heaven beyond earth is the ultimate sign of greed. I mean, we've been given The Earth and all it's wonders and some people are just never satisfied.

if you're not judging, why bother trying to save anyone? what are you saving them from?

well yeah. the greatest lie of all with afterlife-centered religious belief is that it's based on humility, when it's actually based on egocentrism and sense of entitlement.

that said, life on Earth isn't all that wonderful for a lot of people, so you can understand if they want something more.

Or, a "relationship" with Christ, as He asked me to have. Pretty simple stuff, actually.

I'm sorry, but your point regarding egocentrism and/or sense of entitlement doesn't describe the Gospel in any way, shape, or form.

my point. you think the greatest being that could possibly exist asked you to have a personal relationship with him, created the universe for humans, is preparing an enternal afterlife for you etc.

Yep, that's what the Word of God says. Therefore, I believe it. Again, pretty simple stuff.
