Can Oden just come out and say it?

My guess: If he's in a good mood, that means he does give a fuck. If he's calm, that means he does give a fuck. If he looks down, that means he really does give a fuck.

My point is, Nobody will ever know what its like to be in his Big Ass shoes. No point in analyzing

I think GO took a bunch of money and has called it good. Don't be shocked if he never comes back. He's got 18 million plus in his checking account, he can live a great life just off the interest. Portland got screwed on this deal and we all know GO should be at the playoff games cheering his team on. There is no question about that! He has the money to take an entire row to rest his leg on if need be. To be upset though makes little sense. GO's character and heart and want for this game have been questioned since he stepped in the NBA. He has not had one good year to disprove that logic so maybe this is really who he is. The good news is GO is so injury prone that we can sign him for a pack of bubble yum without much worry that another team will want to take his type of risk on. Couldn't hurt to have a back up 7 foot center who has flashes of Bill Russell talent could it?

Let's move on.......

you can never get enough Bone Stimulator jokes. Well played, SPD

He SHOULD be frustrated and angry at God. God is a damn Lakers fan. I'm convinced of it. Well, he's not really treating Bynum too nicely these days either, so... maybe he's just a gambler.
Fuck that shit. I am a Blazer fan 100%

lol Nostradumbass returns eh?

Then you're doing a shitty job! Get off the booze and get to work, old IAM.

In the big scheme of things, what's wrong with me taking a couple hundred years off work to drink it up. After all, who do you think invented tequila? Trust me, the Blazers will win a championship soon, within the next century for sure. Got to go to the bathroom, be back soon.

GOD

But will it happen after you sober up, or while you are passed out and somebody else is in control..

Like....

As Church Lady once said....

SATAN!:devilwink:

If the guy has issues getting up stairs five-months after the injury, then there is something seriously wrong with his knee.

Couldn't you just pee, shit, drink, help the Blazers, fuck the Lakers, watch porn all at the same time?
If I try all that at once I might just drink the Blazers, watch you just pee and shit, fuck the drink and help the Lakers. That's no good, even I need to lighten my load, after all, I still need to catch up on curb your enthusiasm.

You know, you're omnipotent and all.
That's what she said!
And about the Blazers winning the championship within the next century, I've better still be alive!
You will, but you might be going by the name auntie Ty by then.

GOD

:dunno:
Just to clarify, I was being sarcastic.

If you want to know much faith management has in Oden, look at all the money they gave to Camby. Trading our two best bench players for a center and then extending his contract means they don't expect Oden to do much for this team anytime soon.

It's just as much about Joel as it is Greg.

How so? Oden and Aldridge will start...who plays all the backup minutes at 4 and 5? Camby. Thus the signing.

Camby is a very useful player even if Oden and Aldridge play every game. He makes handy insurance in case one (say, Oden) misses significant time.

I would say "this" but I think 95% of us already thought that too unfortunately.

Howard (4/5), Cunningham (4), and Pendergraph (4/5) until Joel comes back. People forget how many big games we won with Howard as center.

and Camby > Howard, Cunningham, Pendergraph... so.... whats your point?

Well now that Mixum has made a prediction, we know the opposite will be true.

Yes but Cunningham and Pendergraph are youger and we'd still have Blake and Outlaw. Look, if Camby helps us win now, I'm fine with it. But if we're no better than last year, then all we've done is gotten older.

I don't think many people have forgotten. I think few believe that that will continue into the future.

Przybilla may never return as an effective NBA player. The injury he suffered, unlike Oden's, can completely change/end a player's basketball ability.

We'll just have to agree to disagree on Cunningham and Pendergraph as good solutions as primary backups to the power positions. I think they're okay depth but not good primary reserve bigs.

In any case, I don't think Camby being signed says much about the team's outlook on Oden for next season. Oden, Aldridge and Camby can all play 30+ minutes per game.
