Can we put the future Mavs pick in a trade up?

When 2010 rolls around the Mavs could be rebuilding($100 million payroll/aging), so that pick might be huge for the franchise. But are we willing to use that to trade up? My gut is we dont. Although I would like to, considering the current plan looks to be something like R.Lopez,Hickson/CDR,Lee/Anderson(The usual names) All career back ups.


Also, what are the odds of this?
