Awesome start.

All I can say is we better win this game. If we don't say good-bye to home ice, and quite honestly if CBJ keeps winning who knows what can happen.

We better wake up fast. Tired of the slow starts.

Let's go...
 
MSL with a nice pass. And of course looking to pass first, but at least he shot finally.
 
Now THAT was pretty. That line is really cooking. Now we are playing some hockey.
 
Great period, but man Stepan needs to shoot that puck. All alone in the middle, just shoot man.

Still...very strong period. Keep it up in the 3rd.
 
Does anyone miss more slam dunk chances than Brassard? Dude frustrates me.

Sometimes over passing, but tonight they are working.

BTW...Flyers getting on a roll quickly, guess that's what happens when you play literally the two worst teams in the NHL, Buffalo and Florida.

This is going down to the wire. We should win at home Thursday night against Buffalo. Then we see what Philly does at TB and at Pitt Thursday and Saturday. If they lose either then Saturday night at Montreal means nothing. If they win both then we need to win at Montreal to clinch home ice.
 
Dude still can't score, snake bitten at this point...LOL, but he has had some real nice passes tonight. Good for him. Hope this starts a roll for him, and maybe he gets some goals soon as well.

BTW...Stepan has really been great the past few weeks. Up to 17 goals now. Nice job.
 
We're finally done worrying about making the playoffs..I told Chuck not to worry. :)
 
Somehow you are still worried I am sure sc. Like they can go backwards and remove the X...LOL.

Yes, it is called the Rangers rule. They can do it. I would keep worrying...:).
 
Christ Brassard shoot the puck. The guy passed away being alone in front with the puck.
 
Will they give Talbot a start to give HL a break going into things?
 
No Mess. Why shoot when you are all alone. The better play is to pass back to a guy with a defender all over him...LOL.

I bet Talbot starts at Montreal almost for sure. If they clinch home ice he plays. If they need it for home ice I think he still may start.
 
Yeah, that would be smart, plus he dosen't really play well there to boot.
 
I agree Mess. That will be a Talbot game almost for sure. I do have this sneaky feeling we'll need a win in that game to clinch home ice. Hopefully Montreal has home ice locked up already so they sit guys.

Yeah it's a house of horrors for Hank and Talbot won there already this season with a shutout.
 
I like that TB is winning tonight. Keeps them on the heels of the Habs for the Flyer game Thursday night, so they should be playing to win. And if Philly wins, and Montreal beats the Isles that same night, Montreal is the 2, so they have nothing to play for Saturday. From that POV we are getting it the way we want it.
 
I hope something isn't in Brassard's head, he isn't even thinking about shooting anymore.
