Cannot send/create a private message (conversation)

The button doesn't exist, otherwise I'd be sending this as a conversation.

I can still reply to old conversations though. Just can't start new ones.

You can invite additional people in but they are private between the people in the conversation.

Click on a user name, there's an orange icon in the top right corner of the profile page, right next to the "follow" button.
