I'm fucking jacked. That video was awesome. Love hearing inside the player huddle with Dame and LA. Dame is not a 2nd year player. He has that "It."

I don't have my headphones with me so I can't listen to it! Dammit!

Seriously, they should have Mark Mason say "Blazer fans you're going to want to stop what you're doing and watch this:" and then should this pinwheelempire video:

I really like the feeling when Stern comes on and says we choose Lillard because I can FEEL everything turn around.

I never noticed how unhappy Lillard seemed when we drafted him. Tough luck, Dame. You're ours now!

ha. I think his tune has changed, if he was unhappy. I think that's just the way he looks when he's being "professional", anyway.

To be fair he was 1 pick away from being able to play in his hometown Oakland. I'm sure any disappointment went away quickly. He's been very successful in his first 2 seasons, nothing to be disappointed about now.

Would GS really pick Lillard? They have Curry... That'd of been a bad situation for Lillard, IMO.

It would have been but that doesn't mean he wouldn't have been picked by them. He definitely found himself in the optimum situation.

Those three videos moved me. And I'm not easily moved. Really a tremendous effort. Is that guy Brandon Mitchell on this forum? If so, I'd rep him until I had to spread some around. And then I'd spread some around, just so I could rep him to the max again.

Defintely. I gotta look for a tweet from him a couple days ago that just speaks to his character and loyalty to those who have helped.

Here it is:

Damian Lillard ‏@Dame_Lillard Apr 24
What I do for the community... Is genuine and because I feel that way. I don't need an award to approve anything.

And

Damian Lillard ‏@Dame_Lillard Apr 24
“@flyguyhuey5: @Dame_Lillard I don't want no award for this” give it to somebody who need the satisfaction cuz I don't]

That's just cool. He may have initally wanted to go back home... but this most definitely feels like a second home for him, I think.

Just saw this thread and glad you guys enjoy em. I do lurk here a lot and recently made my own account (our PWE one is 'pinwheelempire') which I then forgot about a day later

If this is actually bmitch I will rep the hell out of this post!

I dunno, his black tie and red pocket square make me think he knew all along he was coming here.

AD was the only person who technically could have known for sure

You can only rep once per post, so keep posting and I'll keep repping! Seriously, these videos really amp me up.

You silly billies, he's trying his hardest not to cry because he's so happy to be a lottery pick. You can see in one of his draft videos, or just watch the "something to cheer for" video I just posted.

Love the pinwheelempire videos! They fucking rock! Best Blazer videos, hands down.

Just thought I'd add a couple other highlight videos, namely LMA's highlights. If these have been shared already, I apologize for being a noob.

Game 1:

Game 2 (I love hearing the crowd's reactions every time he rises up and then buries a shot):

[video=youtube;fpcn-LhkJe0]

In Game 2, we were set up very well to attack Howard guarding Aldridge at the start of the game. We pulled him to the 3 point line by having LMA set a ball screen for Dame. When Howard hedged to stop Lillard, he was like a fish out of water trying to get back to LMA as he shot open jumpers. At the same time, we had Lopez hanging on the opposite block in the event that his man rotated to help with Dame or LMA. The Rockets had to pick their poison with Dame coming off a ball screen, Lopez waiting under the rim for a pass, or LaMarcus flaring out to wide open space for a jumper, and they picked LMA. WRONG!

I hadn't seen that particular angle on the '3' where Aldridge lost the ball, got it back and then buried the '3' over Howard. Look at his heels. Shades of Sean Elliot/Memorial Day Miracle shot.

His heels look out of bounds but he shoots it off his toes so they never come down and touch the out-of-bounds line.

Inches....

When I saw that shot live I yelled out "Easter Day Miracle!" My wife thought I was nuts.
